Wooden Square Fractal Tray Puzzle

This is a tray type puzzle that uses a Fractal type design. In this wooden square Fractal Tray Puzzle the pieces are variously sized and easily mixed up - nested and interlocking - they came out so they must go back in, surely!

I cut pieces out with a Laser Engraver/Cutter from 3mm (1/8") Poplar* Ply and the puzzle is backed with 3mm (1/8") Birch Ply. The surfaces are then finished with natural boiled linseed oil.Dimensions: 190mm x 190mm

*Poplar has a very fine grain so making the puzzle harder to complete (grain matching not really possible)

About LaserMakerShed

Hi welcome to my little puzzle shop. I make puzzles in a couple of sheds (workshops) at the top of the garden here in Dorset. The puzzles are cut out using a laser cutting/engraving machine and then glued (if required by the design) and finished, by hand. I got into doing this after being made redundant from a bike shop that I ran (before the Covid 19 bike boom).
