About The Bead Fairy
Hi, I'm Wendy aka The Bead Fairy, and I make beaded jewellery items such as bracelets, earrings, necklaces and pendants using sead beads, crystals, glass pearls and other beads.
My pieces are fun, light and easy to wear, and make ideal gifts for those who cannot wear metal jewellery. I also make my own gift boxes from card stock and I try to use environmentally friendly packing materials where possible.
My favourite beading stitch is cubic right angle weave, which is a very unique and skilled technique, but I also use other weaving methods such as brick stitch, peyote, herringbone, loom and square stitch - there is always something for everyone's taste and budget!
I have recently added leatherworking to my craft skills and make small items such as wallets, card holders and coin pouches. All are hand stitched using traditional methods.
