How did artdecomirrorsbyros get started?

My passion for Art Deco and stained glass started as a hobby, then selling at craft fairs and now online through my website and Etsy.

A bit about where your lovely purchases are coming from

My mirrors are created at my home in a converted bedroom. It's a lovely light room with a long workbench underneath a large velux window. There's plenty of storage for tools and my extensive stock of beautiful stained glass sheets in a wide variety of bright and striking colour mixes. Each sheet is unique in it's colour combination, so that each resulting mirror will be one of a kind!

And what about the crafting talent behind these great products

My mirrors are constructed using the traditional Tiffany method. This involves hand cutiing the glass shapes, wrapping the cut edges in thin copper foil and soldering them together. This creates a strong bond but with a delicate and intricate appearance.
