How did Made by Maddocks get started?
Throughout the lockdown in 2020 I taught myself to crochet to pass the time and discovered a love for it! That then lead to crochet birthday cards which then lead into illustrated greeting cards! This then snowballed into all my other products that I currently sell and am developing!
A bit about where your lovely purchases are coming from
I currently live and care for my grandfather and he was nice enough to allow me to convert his spare room into a home office for my little business so I can create at the same time as caring for him!
And what about the crafting talent behind these great products
With my crochet cards I crochet the appliqué before printing the card and hot gluing the appliqué onto the front of the card!
With my coasters and bookmarks I hand draw and illustrate them on my iPad before printing and transferring the image to the blank item via a heat press!
