My name is Cara and I started Seapig 7 years ago after deciding to leave my stable, ‘job for life’ as a university lecturer, to pursue a more sustainable life which included a lot of time beach cleaning and searching my local beaches on Anglesey for beautiful sea glass treasure. I absolutely adore wandering the coast with my children, husband and dog and searching out the beautiful gems that the sea has tumbled and polished for us, and deciding how best I can use these pieces to create bespoke, upcycled jewellery. Each piece is unique and is created with a piece of glass that has been shaped by the ocean. I hope you love these magical pieces as much as I enjoy finding and transforming them.
