About Treacle Rose Handmade

Hi, I'm Heather. I have always loved crafting, upcycling and home renovation programmes, books & magazines. After buying and renovating our own little house in the country, it has become a bit of an obsession, and I have managed to gather up a lot of craft supplies over the last few years. After trying out various crafts, I bought some leather samples and started making little handbag tassels and personalised keyrings.

How did Treacle Rose Handmade get started?

After being made redundant at the end of 2019, I switched to part-time working and started thinking about turning my crafting habit into an online shop.

A bit about where your lovely purchases are coming from

I spent the first few months working from the dining room table, but then moved out to my Shepherd's hut, which has now become my craft studio.

The past few years have been tough for everyone. Making & crafting have kept me sane, kept me busy and kept me motivated. I am still finding my feet, but hope you will join me on my small business journey to see where it takes us.
