About Violet Koala

Violet Koala was created one night when I realised my hobby was overtaking my career, so I made the decision to work part time and focus on designing and creating quirky gifts for people... I create both inspired and humorous Greetings Cards for those special occasions, wish strings with inspirational and comical quotes/phrases, and polymer clay items including earrings, Christmas decorations and novelty items. With an Art & Design background and love nothing more than creating abstract pieces x

How did Violet Koala get started?

Being a lover of all things Art & Design I decided to create for friends and family, once that took off I decided i needed a platform to sell my products to others.

A bit about where your lovely purchases are coming from

I have a small work space in my home that is dedicated to Violet Koala away from all the distractions of life.

And what about the crafting talent behind these great products

Each item I create takes time to perfect. Be that a Greetings card or a set of Polymer clay earrings... I make a rough sketch of what I want to create and go from there, 9 times out of 10 there will be changes but I like to always start from a small sketch in order to have a point of reference for items. Before I release a design or item, I like to test it with some of the most fearsome critics I know, my friends and family. Only then do I consider making the items available for sale.
