Abstract Figure 32 was created using embroidery on heavyweight watercolour paper.
Continuous running stitch follows the curves of the abstract figure, drawing the eye round and in.
The stitch creates a wonderful texture with a slight sheen, enhanced by the subtle colour on a white background.
Everything I make is done by hand, no machine embroidery here!
Floating off fawn mounting board and framed in an oak effect box frame creating depth.
