Stormy Weather
Stormy Weather was inspired by my trips to the coast and way the waves clash against each other, spray reaching for the sky.
I have used painted fabric and found objects in this work. The stormy sky is acrylic paint and I have painted the fabric and creased it to convey a sense of movement and depth. I have added small pieces of plastic tube to hold the spray.
Every piece of art I make is unique and produced by hand, no machine embroidery here, often reflecting the seasons.
